So kind of you to respond so quickly. I am hitting a wall with contractors willing to install a pocket door.

I installed 2 pocket doors in my house and truly made a mistake. All the doors in my house have a moulding which protrudes from the door making it difficult to have the pocket door work and look correct. The problem with the moulding is the door jam needs to stick out to allow for the moulding and requiring a large gap in the door frame. Make sure your door is flat or the moulding is recessed. Good luck.
