It's a clean look as is but seems incomplete, think it could look good with a 6"x*8" mantle of the same or similar lumber as the doors, on the wall about 12" above fireplace and extending about 3" on either side, clean, eased edges, no brackets, floating.

A mantel as above would look great. Also think about repainting your wall color. Having a contrast next to your tile would set it off so much nicer. Its missing the POP. Good luck.

This is what we used to have,which was a stainless mantel. Thinking something with walnut maybe?
