genmori, you are growing them on a balcony, in containers? I don't know where you live, but if your winters are cold you may need to protect your containers by wrapping them, moving them up close to the side of the building out of drying winter cold winds. They won't do well containerized and left to a prolonged freeze if you experience those.

The growing medium in your container should be very well draining and even if it is, if you have winter rains there it may still be too wet for them. They'll do best if watered well, then allowed to dry out again before more water is given.

They grew but weren't flawless in my former garden, planted in the ground. Too much winter rain in my coastal climate, and the soil a little rich and heavy. They would have been happier in faster draining soil of poor to average fertility, please don't overfertilize in your containers.
