I think my "hiding" spot was even more cliche...underwear drawer!

I still can't hide things worth beans.

I never had a diary but I think I would buy an accent pillow unpick one side of it. Insert the diary inside the pillow then buy a pillow cover.

If I am the only one to clean my bedroom I would hide it in the garbage can then put a plastic bag in the garbage can.

I kept mine right on my nightstand, I had this notion that my mom would think there was nothing in it worth reading since I didn't hide it.....she passed away in 1998 and NEVER told me if she peeked nor did I ask her.....

A book jacket, especially one that holds no interest for other readers in the house.

It was hidden in my coat pocket, but my Mom still found it and read it. When I came home from high school that day, she dragged me off to confession in a different town so our local priest wouldn't recognize my voice and learn I was having sex with my boyfriend. After that, I wrote everything in code. This was in 1962 and I married that boy!

I think I had a very good hideing place as a child, i a old christmas stocking in my room, I sliped it in there and nobody ever found it.... I am acutlly supprised.

I never really had a diary per se. But I did write poetry. And I didn't hide it. Don't know if anyone read any of them. They never said. Today if I wanted to hide a diary or journal, I think I'd put it in the china hutch behind the unused china.

In the cavity behind a small drawer in an old Deco wardrobe. You have to remove the drawer entirely to find it! Maybe it was made that way on purpose?
