Your top looks really nice... Love it! I have this same block top WIP in teals and greens...it has been in-process for at least 2 1/2 years...just a few more blocks to make....your top is getting me motivated to finish!

The rich purple border fabric is perfect. I agree with toolgranny on the sashing choice and secondary pattern. You made a very stunning quilt from different people and fabrics! Great job!

A real beauty.

Here it is all quilted, bound and labeled ready to be a wedding gift for my brother-in-law and his new wife. I struggled to find a thread color that I liked but settled on a Signature thread called Moon Rock, which is taupe. I think it worked well with the many-colored blocks. Valarie, I quilted it with just a meander, I haven't gotten into complicated quilting yet. I've been most pleased with just a basic stipple.

You sure can put together some beauties, Lois. I like how the white on the sides connect with the next block through the white sashing. Awesome!
