I saw this color pattern with a climbing bright red rose. It was 'Star of India' and I've forgotten the rose name. Such a striking combo that I began seaching for other clematis like 'Star of India' as it wasn't available at that time.

I found 'Fireworks', 'Mrs. N. Thompson', 'Myojo', and 'The Vagabond'. Of these your wonderful picture most resembles 'The Vagabond'. I hope you will post more pictures of it in different stages.
