Is it possible to order your window's view? I would like to install something similar in the midwest.

I installed a similar view in one of my projects. I can't remember the supplier. Contact Garret Cord Werner Architects & Interior Designers directly and they may be able to help you.

I have a different view available, but it does have a similar sunset - or sunrise - lighting, if that's any help.

    LOL!!

Um I'm not sure how to answer this
What about the one third/ two thirds rule, Garret? That would solve the problem, surely.

Antonio Banderas. If I can order a view......that would be mine.

To clarify, are you asking about an installed mural feature, something like installed blinds between double glazing? Or are you asking if you should move house to a location with spectacular sunsets:)

Transplant yourself like we did. We have all that you're asking for, as well as the best sunrises and sunsets I've ever seen anywhere else in the world, and with piercing blue skies not filtered through grey clouds.

What the heck is that by the soap dispenser?

I was wondering about that one too, bsellers........... :D

Hanna and BSellers, it's art glass. Who would put art glass on a double tap vanity top is an entirely new question;)
    Don't ask, Don't Tell.
I also saw it as a reflection in the mirror bc that art glass is repeated. But then of course, I wasn't sure if I was looking at a tub or vanity at first! Third adjustment on my contacts may be in order so I can see clearly instead of double, for instance.

I was confused about the vanity too, thought it was a tub until the fourth or fifth time I looked at the photo. I wear trifocals but I really think the confusion is the angle the photo was taken at. Very cool basin, once I figured it out, lol! I think I like the taps, too:)

Ohhh Sunnie, how are you dear? How goes the renovation and the dust? Thank you for making me feel like it's not totally unreasonable to first see it as a tub. Well, I sure hope this person got it straightened out. It's an old thread that got resurrected.
ROFLOL, ok, now that IS the trifocals at work, lol, this dilemma was posted over a year ago, and not commented on until Mark found it! I hope the OP found his/her solution:)

We're fine, busy but unfortunately not with the reno (soft frustrated growl here). Between materials delays and men on holiday, we're not going to see any real activity until mid-May, then it will be scramble city since my son and grandson are due in the last week of June.

It will alllll come together and everybody will live happily ever after! I know you want to get started on the real thing though. Enjoy your spring and don't worry. Just think, it may never be this quiet around there again! Enjoy the peace and privacy one last season.

I, too would like to put a view on the side where the nasty neighbours look straight into ours. The other side is garden, so that's all right.
We have great neighbours, Chook, but I do know what you mean about privacy issues between neighbours! The house we're in just now is a semi-detached, the back gardens are split by a rather steep stair up to the back street where our neighbours park their motor and they're up and down those stairs 50 times a day - I keep my kitchen blinds shut because they do have an unfortunate habit of looking to see if I'm in the kitchen, waving and shouting a cheery hullo if they see me. Love them, hate that habit.
My neighbour is the same with trips out. Why can't they do all their shopping at once? When the oil starts to run out it could be different.

As soon as Spring truly springs here we're buying a huge potted plant to put on our side of the stair to block the view. Between that and the tall planter boxes we're building to give us some privacy between the two gardens, we should be able to open the kitchen blinds again. Hopefully.

    Can you do something similar?

The planter boxes are 4' off the ground, flanking our garden gate with a further three feet of trellis, and we're further installing an arbour over the gate we're seriously considering making into a 6 footer. Once finished we'll be able to enjoy some back garden privacy but the planters weren't enough to block the view coming and going on those stairs - it's a straight shot into our kitchen window just now:( Hoping the big pot plant will seal the privacy!

We put thick sheers, stopped using the door on that side, and replaced it with a vintage opaque pressed glass door for light.
I'd rather have a nice view though.
Door was $10 at a garage sale.

I know just what you're going through and to be honest, I don't think it's right that we should have to go to these lengths to enjoy a sunny day especially in our own home.

Whoops, I could on and on! I think instead I'll call it a night and try to fall asleep to Inspector de Luca, lol! Happy Mother's Day, Chook!

    Mother's Day?
Sorry, tomorrow is Mothering Sunday over here and greetings have begun here already:) When does Australia celebrate Mums?
Happy Mothers Day, Sunnie! You deserve it for all the trouble you're going to for your son, alone. We celebrate in May. Do you think I'll get a beach view if I give out hints?! He's pretty dense with them.

Not sure how I feel about this trough sink!? Pretty yes but not very practical. Love the view in the mirror though!! :)

My bathroom view, neighbors to the right and behind me. I'm offering a Pre Black Friday special, inquire within. Also, if you see Santa or an elf, please remind him the only thing I ask for is a quick gentrification.
