When moving into their new home the Rollins family decided to hire an interior designer to update a few rooms. Wanting an old venetian design in the dining room they chose deep red walls, heavy curtains, and intricate oriental rugs. What they got was a beautiful room, that was too dark to use as a functioning space. The interior designer took into account everything but the amount of natural light.

Small fixes like adding mirrors and rearranging the furniture helped but didn't make the space any more welcoming. After all the work put into painting and the money spent on a designer renovations were also out of the question.

One uncommon but effective solution to their problem was installing an outdoor heliostat. A heliostat tracks the sun and redirects sunshine indoors throughout the day using mirrors. With the Sunflower from Wikoda the Rollins family now has a bright and welcoming dining room with all the charm they had originally redesigned for.
