Thanks for the question. It doesn't have the typical hard plastic look or feel. It is made from plastic composite (plastic and other recycled inputs) giving it a more organic feel and look. It also has a marbled finish which gives it an almost slate appearance.

When filled with soil these planters are fairly heavy. With proper support they can be mounted under a window, however they are typically used as floor planters rather than window mounted.
