Do you mean that one rug is a solid dark gray and other a solid light gray? Confused by your question.

With all the gray on the walls, the taupe for your largest piece, I would try to find something with all the colors...not just solids.

Ahhh - yes I see how I was confusing. Yes it is a one color rug and when I went to order it there were different shades to choose from. I do love your idea of adding in pattern with all the colors. I was hoping to do that with pillows or art on the walls. I seriously fell in love with this fluffy, yummy rug. Oh I guess I should also add that our wood floors are a dark stained maple.
