Well the leaves look like oak. Some questions........ Where is this growing? Are the 'fruit' definitely on the same plant as the lobed leaves and not on some other plant which is intermingled? And finally can you show some more pictures from further back showing the habit and also some shots of stems and buds.

It's growing by a fence. There's not much habitat because 1 foot away from the fence is my garden. I'm positive the fruit was on the same lobed-leaf plant :) And there weren't any stems or buds! :) I think it might be too late to ID this year...

By 'where is it growing' I meant where in the world? Or if it's in the US where in the US? It really helps to know that - you could be anywhere from the tropics to the Arctic circle as far as we know - and location has a huge bearing on the plants you are likely to have around.

It has clearly got stems - I can see them in your photograph. I just wanted to see more of where the stems join the leaves. By 'habit' we mean the shape and growth form, not the habitat. If you can show some more pictures maybe we can give you more ideas. I see no reason why it would be 'too late' to id this year.

Looks to me like a seedling of blackjack oak, Quercus marilandica. An oak, anyhow.
