Choosing an accent color?

Hello! I'm slowly but surely making small changes to my living/dining room and entrance way. Yesterday the painting was completed and now it's time to think about accent colors. I eliminated having a feature wall so I don't have to commit to a color. What do the Houzz experts think?? I'd like to pull some color from the picture that I added.

Where did you hang the painting? To start, I would move your dining chairs so that 2 are on each side. Can you take a picture of the sofa so we can see what's around it?

Need to see where you are hanging picture per er612. Also would like some feedback on what accent colors you are considering. With your room so neutral, there are numerous possibilities. I see red, gold, greys, blacks and white in the picture. Correct?

Yes, you're correct with the colors. This is the wall that the picture will be hung. My couch is a sage free and I'm not against replacing the accent pillows. While I DO LOVE the idea of bringing the red out I worry about the red/green combination! Thoughts?
