Thank you- We can drill a drain hole using a ceramic diamond tip drill bit for the cost of $10.00. We use a 1/2" bit which is large enough to drain the bowl. We also suggest that yoy dont allow this bowl to freeze in the winter. Freezing can make it brittle and the soil and water expansion will damage this item. Bill

We have an automatic irrigation system that will be connected through the bottom of planter. We probably would need a 1 inch drainage hole to accommodate tubing. Is a 1 inch hole possible?
