We are finishing a kitchen remodel and have plans for a 46" thin Samsung TV to go across from the island - my intended use is to connect via Apple TV to pull up my recipes in a large screen.

However, my DH's intended use is to be able to swivel the TV if he wanted so that it can be viewed from the table.

Honestly, the amount of time we would have the tv on while eating is very small. But he pursued a mount that would allow us to do this swiveling.

Thing went up yesterday and I HATE it. It sticks way far off the wall. It's almost impossible to get centered over the cabinet. It's bulky and huge and I loathe it.

Our electronics guy is telling us this mount is our only option for the features DH wants.

Hoping someone here can help us figure out another plan?
