we are trying to decide between dual fuel and all gas...how is the all gas for baking or do you have a set of electric for that purpose? your kitchen is beautiful...nicely done!

I do have an electric wall oven to the left of the range. Since it has digital controls (and a pure convection mode), I'll use that for baking when I need to be exact. (Or when it's hot out and I don't want the extra heat from the range.) Honestly, though - I love how quickly the gas oven heats up, and how hot it gets (great for pizzas, roasting, and it does a beautiful job with baking as well. (I also love the BlueStar's infrared broiler.) So if I could only have one oven, I'd probably go with gas.

Sue - a little 'off kitchen' topic but I cannot make out the hardware in the windows - are they casement or double hung? we will have a combo of windows in our reno and I am trying to sort out the hardware for locks, handles, etc, and I am starting to drown in minutiae! help!

The windows in this photo are double hung. The only visible hardware is the lock hatch in the middle (on top the lower pane).
