Not loving that either. I think you need something a little more rich, not pastel. What are your favorite colors. You really have plenty of options because of the gray and white so what do you love?

I loved the look of this door but couldn't find out the color. https://www.houzz.com/photos/walk-around-the-hood-modern-entry-los-angeles-phvw-vp~2165023 Some have suggested lavender but I'm not sure. Just want something that will pop and increase my curb appeal but not look bizarre. Red is too typical but my end up going that route if I can't find something I love

Btw thank you

The link you posted is definitely a more muted and not as neon. The color you chose isn't terrible or anything, just not something that I find eye catching. Do you want bold or would you rather stay with something subtle? For example would this scare you

Yes too bold but want something eye catching

Does the paint you used have a swatch with the same color family? How about going a shade darker? I think what you have is better than lavender. It's funny because the more I look at the color the more it doesn't bother me. LOL Maybe it will grow on you? I tend to naturally go for more muted colors so I think I just found it quite bright, but the third time around looking at it, I truly don't mind it as much.

I'm liking this color a lot for front doors: Sherwin Williams Open Seas SW 6500
Sherwin Williams Ebbtide SW6493

Great colors, I Like the Open Seas b. Will check that out. Thanks.

The Sherwin Williams Open Seas SW 6500 that info posted is very pretty.

thanks everyone...I just got back from the paint store and the decorator hated the lime green color. He suggested if I wanted to stay with green Guilford green (color of the year) or shades of spring. Otherwise he thought BM concord ivory. So I'm thinking about totally changing my look to Concord ivory. Any thoughts?

Ivory seems a tad blended in to the rest of the house. I'd prefer that lime green to ivory. LOL I do like the Guilford green but I'm not sure how much the door would really stand out. I think it would look good, just not pop out at you.

While I don't think the lime green works, I also think the concord ivory is too self-effacing for a front door.

I found two gray houses with concord ivory doors

I think the color stands out....do you?

Yes, it actually looks very yellow. I guess I should have searched that one. I was thinking Ivory as in white. I like it, but I like yellow. It's subtle, not in your face, but still stands out. I think there's three great color choices, the guilford green, concord ivory and blue open seas. I really thin all would look good so I think you should choose what color you find more appealing. Green is going to "blend in more with the surroundings", blue is going to stand out and yellow will be a more subtle contrast. Even though we can give our opinion you should choose the one that is more you.

A little off topic but on that same pinterest page there is concord ivory in a dining room and is VERY yellow. How can they call that Ivory? I don't get it.
