Please help me decorate teen daughters room!

Ok, I have an almost 14 year old daughter and she needs a room redo. She dos not at all seem to know what she wants, other than liking navy blue! She has mentioned navy blue and turquoise. I would rather not repaint but if I have to I will. I feel like navy blue as a paint color is going to look like a dungeon.

She doesn't like flowers, doesn't like frilly. I have googled and googled and I am quite tired of thinking about this room! I would love to do something that will last through high school. I have looked at Pottery Barn teen a good bit. Any ideas?

Perhaps go white on three walls and one blue accent wall... I know, get out the paint brush but she can help! A jelly fish photograph ( allposters.com), white shag rug, and a neat blue lounge chair.

Navy blue ceiling dropped down about 6 inches all around. Paint walls white. Then go shopping for navy blue bedding, sheets in navy are so enveloping. And does not show dirt. Paint out night stands in turquoise or buy mirror night stand and then turquoise and white gold accents.

Replace coral with navy and rug done with some turqoise and navy and white for area rugs.

I would suggest painting the walls a very pale, neutral blue and then adding navy and white with a few red accents. The furnishings shown in other posters' photos are beautiful, and they prove that navy blue is not dull.
