Love that couch. Only issue is the two differentry curtains in essentially the same room, get matching ones for the living area.

Thanks! But I disagree I think the curtains can be different as long as they go together :) it would be overwhelming to have the blue curtains on all of the windows.

Lovely. May I suggest a bigger area rug, or at least putting the front feet of the couch on the one you have now.

There are two sofas facing each other (this picture doesn't show this ) the area rug is centered in between them with equal amount of flooring showing. The area rug looks fine to me Danielle.

If you have done all the decorating in your home yourself, give yourself a big pat on the back for doing a very good job.

The wall colour was from the builders paint so I don't have the name. It's a white with a grey undertone.

Yeah I like it because it doesn't look blue but it's hard to tell looking on a screen. I found the perfect grey and of course threw away the empty can and can't remember what it was now. It looks really close to yours.

I agree with nikawareham. While it's fine to have different curtains the blue patterned curtains are stunning and would bring cohesion to the space. To me having the different curtains makes it look like you are trying to define areas (living/dining) in a small space which only makes it look smaller. The rug looks fine, I have a small area rug set equally from all the furniture in my living room and I like the look. No furniture is touching it except the coffee table, makes it much easier to vacuum. You have a lovely room!
