Toilet too far out from wall

Hi there! I was wondering if I could get some professional advice. I have just done a bathroom remodel to 80's condo. The toilet has just been installed and it is nearly 3 inches away from wall (the tank). It looks funny. Do I have the wrong toilet or is this a plumbing problem? The toilet is a Fresca Antila Dual flush 12" offset. This was my first toilet buy and I have no idea what I'm doing. Cheers
