New Home Elevation

Hi, I'm having a hard time deciding which elevation I like. I think I like the first elevation although it will only be brick on the front and have siding on the rest of the house. The second elevation will have stone and brick on front, which I like, and will have brick wrap half way around the whole house. We are on a corner lot and I didn't know if brick wrap would be important or not since people could see the sides of the house more on a corner lot. They both have a front porch and I like that, we will be able to change the colors of the brick also, it wouldn't be like this drawing of the elevations. What do you all think?

Out of those two, I definitely like the first one best. Much more cohesive-looking design. It's too bad it doesn't have brick wrap though.

I think both elevations are very nice, though I would probably prefer the 2nd one myself. It has a more laid-back, homey appeal and the different materials lend it more visual interest, in my opinion. I can see the appeal of the first one too, though. It's quite nice but I find it a safe choice, predictable and maybe a bit rigid. I think "staid" describes it -- respectable, but unadventurous--like life in that house should be well ordered. It totally wouldn't suit my home life where we have to roll with the punches, adjust with whimsy and "make lemonade" as the saying goes. Since you're on a corner lot, I think the one with the brick wrap around would be better suited to your site, especially if it has a combination of materials too, and, whoa! That would be the 2nd one. =)
