An ogee edge would be too traditional with your shaker cabinets. The eased edge would look great!

The Summit looks fine to me. Which do you prefer? Which is NOT an upgrade?

A simple eased edge would be my choice.

I realized this thread is almost a year old but I wondered what you ended up chosing for an edge profile? Do you have a picture? I am in the decision stage for my cambria counter and I will have cabinets very similar to yours. Thanks

I too have Shaker-style cabinets (although mine are painted). A family friend and interior designer suggested an eased edge several months ago, which I guess is the Seacliff. The Summit has some appeal since (1) there is an angled cabinet in the entranceway, and (2) we are clumsy people prone to bump into things and say "ow" anyway. But would that level of rounding detract from my galley-style kitchen's linear feel and the transitional-modern look we're going for?

The Summit edge should work wonderfully well in your kitchen, Brian.
