I would be interested in reading your blog. Some very interesting shaped caudexes you have there. The second pic they resemble miniature palm trees. The last one looks like a test tube, I have a couple of seedlings that look like this that I just adore.

I also know what you mean about friends just not getting it.

The last one is a bit more interesting - not because of its shape, but because it was a twin - two separate plants germinated from one seed !

I also had an albino (very pretty for as long as it lasted) and I have one that has odd coloured leaves - creamy yellow/green to start with, getting deeper green as they age.
