Hello: we want to add two windows flanking the fireplace. The brick beyond the actual fireplace itself in the center) is only one layer thick and it leads out to our nicest view, the woods. We want to do 20 inch width or 22 if that is stock).
My questions are:
1) how far to go down--halfway or a long, narrow window?
2) fixed or something like a hopper or casement. I believe the casement is too narrow.
