Can you take a photograph of them? Aphids are a numerous bug, and are around now that most plants have leafed out. Sometimes they jump around but I usually see them flutter/fly. We won't know until we see 'em!

I have 2 kinds of flea beetles in my vegetable garden this year. One variety is the classic all-black. The other is very similar but it has what looks to these aging eyes as 2 yellow strips down its back, reminiscent of the Colorado potato beetle.

The Black one focused on the eggplants (hoping to plant radishes next year as a trap crop,) while it also at times hopped over for an eggplant snack, the yellow and black one seemed to enjoy the turnips, arugula, and broccoli raab.

The all-black sat in place and was easily to squish. The yellow backed one was fast jack! Tough to pinch, it would hop away just as I was about to pinch.
