I'm impressed by the skill it took to execute those ideas. Those were some skilled trades.

Apparently the owner who did this was a furniture-maker, cabinet-maker. I appreciate the workmanship but I am not sure I understand the overall esthetic. I wonder if the bedroom has been redecorated because of the subtlety of the wallpaper covered waterfall-type closet doors.

Are those plastic nightstands?

My eyes went to those plastic bin nightstands also but since the owner is a cabinet maker I assume he just hasn't made another nightstand yet. I like the wallpaper in the bedroom and even the psychedelic paper at the kitchen entrance, but over all I don't care for the house.

Is that the Society Hill Towers, iirc? I remember being so impressed with them. We used to sort of walk through their driveway to get from the South St and seaport bar/restaurant area to go see foreign films at the Ritz, back when I lived in town.

Yes, those are plastic bins, like from the Container Store. I am not sure that the person who did the woodworking still lives in it. The bedroom wallpaper and coordinated upholstery doesn't seem to fit in with that.

It is Society Hill Towers, yes. I think the exterior of the towers is great. The interior is somewhat problematic because some of the walls are not conventional stud walls, at least in the original layouts. They seem to be layers of drywall put up as partitions between some rooms, which means you can't really update electrical and things like that. So you will see plug mold and things added on the surface.

I just put one of those end tables on the curb for pickup. Truly one man's trash is another man's treasure.
