Wow! Those are some amazing photos of your beautiful roses! I've been hankering after Julia's Rose for a while! I love the stages of bloom you captured, so pretty! Your edging looks perfect as well! Did you use concrete with forms, or are they landscape bricks close together, it looks so neat and tidy, I LOVE it! I have one row of roses planted along a fence and still can't figure out what to do for edging.

What I can't get over is how beautiful your grass is!! Don't you get dandelions where you live? Our city is completely covered in dandelions - blech!! I'm waging my own non-chemical warfare with them.

Nummy,
the lawn edging is done with concrete pavers that fit into each other. The nice
thing about them is that you can do curves as well. The main reason for the
edging is so that the bot can cut all the way to the edge. 'Henry' and his big
brother have been doing our lawns since last year lol. And what a pleasure - no
more grass cuttings and no more edges to do!!

rosecanadian, LOTS
AND LOTS of dandelions and other stuff. We live sort of in the country and
the farmer next door has a field which he just leaves to grow
wild. Quite pretty with all the wild flowers. It isn't so bad now
that the lawn is established. Here you can see the field behind the irises.
