Dryer vent

Our dryer vent comes out onto our covered patio and it cannot be relocated. It leaves a mess on everything that is on the patio. Are there any solutions to prevent dust bunnies from getting all over our furniture, etc? We haven't been able to come up with anything.

is the screen filter in your dryer secure? there shouldnt be that much lint in your vent, it builds up and catches fire. check your lint filter to see whats what, and have a go at cleaning your duct.

I am assuming you are talking about the outside vent cover? if so, replace it and caulk it good and you won't have dust bunnies.

Thanks for the suggestions. The inside filter is in place and I always clean it out. The line goes up and then makes a turn straight back to the outside wall. I will have it cleaned out and hopefully that will take care of the problem.
