Have you considered bringing your bank of cabinets next to the stove all the way to the right hand wall and leaving off the righthand bank. You compromise very little cubic area and have a much more elegant space. The liberated wall space can be used to good effect either for storage or display. In our office we do everything that we can to eliminate dead corners in kitchens.

I love drawers for pots and I agree I would leave the shallow cabinets out of the design and also the shelving . You could then have your lifter in a cabinet at the end . Hope that makes sense.

This drawing is a great depiction of the kitchen so far! Once you establish the full layout, our rendering services could really come in handy for you to fully visualize this project before you start it.

HI -- Do not take the cabinets around the corner . Just do a straight run to the corner so you don't have that lost space . See if that works better for you. I would not do the shelves either .

As per my note, I will not mount floating shelves. It is on the design because I get a discount if I buy them. I have wall cabs on and they will not go (see wall cabs in the following pic). The kitchen is a U shape kitchen and there are cabinets right and left wall. It might help you to understand the space to look at the drawings I am attaching. Not having cabinet on the right is not an option because I need counter space and storage space. I have no cabinet on the wall where the range is and I do not want any. My dilemma is about the corner. Should I go with 27" 3 drawer, 12 " FH, 18FH and 15" 3 Drawers or should I have 24" 1 Drawer &2 rolling shelves+ 15 FH (toaccomodate KitchenAid lifter) + 33" 3 drawers on the right of the kitchen. The window on the right of the stove is not a window but a niche with shelves (same size of the window on the left of the stove). Thanks for your help
