That looks great, how did you paint it? Professional, brush, roller or what was your method? I need to do mine! What type of paint? Semi gloss, satin? Thanks

Hi Udderlady 78, I painted it myself with a small foam roller. I used BM Aura grand entrance in a satin finish

What a difference that makes - I think it's a beautiful choice. Now, about that door mat - it's like wearing this brand new suit with the same old tennis shoes :)

I'd still like to see the shutters removed. They are faux stick-ons and your window style does not require them. As pretty as the door is, the shutters draw the eye away from it and your entry. Maybe groveraxle will provide you with a shutter-less shot of the house so you can see the difference.

Yes, digital cameras don't need shutters.

Looks great. I love to see bright and unexpected colors on entry doors. Choose a color that sticks out, says something about your personality. Making simple changes to a homes exterior is cost effective and easy. Color schemes on the exterior of a home are just as important as on the interior.Home and Design Solutions
