Well, I planted it in the ground this year....

I have 2 plummies, that I've had for about 6 years now. They were getting big in their pots, even though I have root pruned at least once. So, this year, instead of root pruning, I planted one directly in the ground. It has been in the ground for about a month now, and it is VERY happy. Fortunately, I have sandy loom and I live on a sand hill, so I don't have to worry about the drainage issue here.

I want to see a plumeria tree, a real one. I will probably never see one in person, so I want one of my own. So, yeah, I will have to dig it up in November, and bring it inside so it doesn't freeze. I have a small home, but I will make room somewhere.

I really wish I understood how to post a pic of the tree, I took one on my cell phone. I had posted already on here, but I can't remember how to do it.

Mabey in a couple months I will have someone figure it out for me, I want to show you how she does this summer.

Let me know how it goes! I may do that with a few as well.

I just don't ever seem to have the time to dig them in the Fall just before frost! And usually it has rained and is just nasty and cold when they need to come in. I'm better off having them either in pots on the deck, or plant them pot and all and just yank them up!

We would love to hear about your trees in the ground.. I can't wait to see pics as well...

When posting a pic.. do you see the camera icon below the posting area when you are typing into your new post? When you have your picture on your computer ( iPad) or cell.. It will ask " existing" or " take photo". If you have it stored, click " existing" and it should pull up your photos.. Scroll through until you find the one you like and then " click" onto that photo. And you will see it posted where you leave the cursor... I always write something and hit the return button to make sure the cursor is at the bottom of the written content.. Before I was posting pictures all over the post.. Lol.
