What is the ceiling height of this plan & roof pitch?

    ceilings are 10' down and vaulted to 9' upstairs. In this type of form it is more the proportion of upper roof to lower roof that is important. It has to be just right. This of course depends on width and depth of footprint and the pitches relative to each other. I wish there was a "right #" or some formula. It takes a little finesse.
