I think if you change your throw pillows to include the color of the glider it would help. You just need a touch of the color in your throw pillows. Then put a lumbar matching print on your glider.

Or if you want to be budget friendly, take the throw and put it on the arm of your glider to bring the blue to the glider and around the room.

Looks great there. Complements the couch. I would paint out the honey color spindles in the background. They take away from your beautiful décor.

Nicely chosen color scheme. Consider integrating your accent colors of blue and white with pillows in a pattern effect (i.e. plaids, stripes, florals etc.) and marry them up for your sofa and introduce gray/blue solid and/or pattern pillows for your chair. To maintain interest, place an odd numbers of pillows on your sofa and add candles in these colors to further carry out the scheme. Regarding placement of your chair, it appears to be in the best position for T.V. viewing.

Congratulations! Enjoy your baby and the time you will be relaxing comfortably in your chair. When my daughter was an infant, I tried not to worry about many of the details that I worry about now. When I look at old pictures, I had a pretty white sectional and then a rocking chair that didn't match the decor sitting in the room. The time goes by so quickly; you will have plenty of time to decorate differently once your kids are grown. I think your room looks terrific as it is. I love the gray sofa, grey walls, and accent colors. The chair works fine...and your area rug has the dark color running through it to incorporate the color of the chair. You also have other dark accents such as the tables and shelves.

I love what you have done with this room. The TV balances with the bookcases or etageres really well. Most people have the problem of where do I put the TV so it isn't an eyesore. You have not that problem. I love your painting too.

Isn't it lucky your glider fits perfectly in this room so you can rock the new baby when he comes. I bet you won't even have any jealousy with the dog either. The dog will probably take over as watchdog for that little one. The only tiny suggestion would to bring in alittle yellow, rust or red into the room. Maybe with one more pillow
