Our 60's-era beach house in Delaware is way overdue for a change in color scheme but we are stuck as it is very much an indoor/outdoor house, with a screen porch running through the middle. We need something lighter, and most importantly, that does not show dust and pollen so much. All the black and dark brown look gloomy and show every bit of dirt. The best I've come up with is a medium gray (maybe brownish gray?) on the shingles with darker gray trim, keeping the beams brown, and the indoor pine floor and ceiling colors as is. The indoor walls would get a light whitewash. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!
