My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Wild Child

I finished the Wild Child top, a Bonnie Hunter pattern. It still needs to be quilted. It is definitely wild!

    Linda/TG, I know how you feel.....at least about the mystery. I never even pressed mine, just folded it up and put it away! But, I think a lot of it has to do with how colors are used. A lot of the gals made really pretty ones, and the way Jackie did this one is way better, at least to me, than how Bonnie's looks. I usually have trouble 'visualizing' how a pattern would look using something other than what is recommended when doing those scrappies. When there are so many scraps, I think there needs to be a lot of 'plain' to off set it and rest the eye. Even though Jackie's green appears bright, it's still plain and works excellently.....in my opinion. I might have to start asking Jackie for help with suggestions in this area. :-)
