Love this idea! Did you end up painting your chairs, bmccray? How'd they turn out?

Alas, I ended up NOT painting the chairs even tho every time I look at them I wonder...... Decided to use a bold pattern for the fabric on the seat cushions which brings a nice splash of color to the room. I was/am concerned that if I paint the chairs, they will get bumped and scratched easily and that the paint finish will chip off. I haven't given up on the idea, but have put this on the back burner for now and am focusing on easier projects. :)
