I haven't tied mine to the deck either because I'm waiting to get this construction finished .. But this just goes to show why we should tie them off. This reminds me of how you received your cutting from me!! Same thing!!

Now you have a few Divine cuttings too! I cut mine back and doing the same...

Sounds like a plan Dave !!

Im going to tie them all up tomorrow after I plunge a few into larger containers. This will look better on the new deck instead of the black pots and make hubby happy due to the drainage. He just won't see so much dirt if I put pot in pot with mulch around. Plus it will protect those in direct sunlight.

Getting my thoughts in order as to keeping them all secure. Last year the rebar worked great. I might add a few to the new container bed.to help aid them from toppling in high winds

Oh no thats a bummer. But with Divine, I think next season will be quite a sight to behold if it decides to put out around 3 growths for every broken tip. Good thing the inflo rate is high for this variety.

Divine is truly incredible. Even in a pot, it will put out an inflo on 3 to 4 inch new stems. Compare that to Aztec Gold's 24 inches!

Is Divine one of those cooler weather lovers? It's been 98 degrees here, and she is the only one who has droopy yellow leaves with spots all of a sudden (practically overnight!). Should I bring her back inside to my sunny warm window area?

I have heard people say that Divine consumes more water than other plants but I have not had that problem with mine.
