Replacing carpet with engineered floors in a guest bedroom. Wall color, Pale Oak. Lots of light with large windows. White: shutters, built in desk and bookcases, trim, doors and molding. Furniture: antique medium color walnut bed, and side dressers. Should floors be lighter than medium walnut, distressed or traditional? This is a country house that gets lots of tough wear on the floors. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
