Small bathroom ceiling advice

How would you remedy this challenge? We added plumbing to upstairs, but had to sacrifice the bathroom downstairs. Need advice on how to fix this issue.

Well.... you could paint the pipes red...... that will make a statement...... LOL.

Nah, it is not much you can do about it than to drop the ceiling....

Why didn't the whole ceiling of this bathroom get opened up so the plumbing could be added there?

That's a very good question!!! Looks like our plumber took the easy route.

What the ??? Was there never a discussion about where the plumbing would be run? Aside from the plumber is there a contractor involved in the rest of the upstairs work?

that is quite remarkable! i hope it wasnt your favorite bathroom.

i'm leaning more towards the "paint it red" school than the 'drop the ceiling' school. sometimes its better to brazen it out than have a low ceilinged room.

assuming the front hole wont have pipes added, you could just drop the ceiling for the rear of the bathroom and have it high over the doorway and vanity. have them frame it on the diagonal so you have as much high space as possible.
