yes, the headboard is integrated and included. The nightstands are available seperately.

Also, will we be able to stain this piece into a different color ?

The Delta Collection comes in a beautiful hand distressed finish with 3 layers of finishing. We have never had a customer be disappointed with the finish, but it would be possible to have a set custom made with a different finish if you'd like. Or, you could strip the finish and refinish the piece on your own since it is all solid wood construction. Hopefully this helps!

No problem, usually it looks best to have a bit of contrast between the floor color and furniture to create contrast and help nice furniture to stand out in the room. If you are interested in any custom pieces, I'd be happy to help.

Could you please send me an email ID that I can send a picture of our flooring to? That way you can either advise if this beds finish will go with it. You could may be do some photoshop as well so I could visualize how the set up would look. Also is there a chest that would go with this bed?
