This is going to sound pathetic, but I forget to water the garden sometimes. Sometimes it's only when the plants get droopy that I notice.

I'm wondering if there is an app that can check to see if it rained, and remind me to water if it's been 3 days or whatever since rain. Or how often do I need to water? I have 2 raised beds with veggies, and the soil is very well drained. Any app suggestions, or rule of thumb on how often to water? Should I be measuring the rainfall too?

I moved here from Iowa, where we rarely had to water. Really all we had to do was stick some seeds in the rich black dirt, weed, and harvest the bounty.
