Would you mind telling me the paint color on your walls - it looks great with all your choices so far! I have similar finishes in my own kitchen and would love to know.

I would recommend selecting a backsplash tile that has a matte finish. Like yours, my kitchen has a lot of shiny finishes - SS appliances, polished granite countertops, and even the finish on the natural maple cabinets has a sheen to it - add to that my glass subway tile backsplash and it's too many shiny surfaces for my liking. I think a tile in a matte finish would offer more texture and contrast (although they may also be more difficult to clean).
