My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Waterproofing strategy

With stone pavers on a roof deck, can you share what waterproofing products and techniques were used?

    That's the best question that anyone has asked us on HOUZZ. The pavers are sitting on a steel structure that is suspended above a newly installed roof and properly sloped membrane. If they weren't sitting on steel, we'd probably recommend using a pedestal system like "Bison" where the stone was not physically attached to the roof membrane. The pedestal system allows the weight to be distributed and allows easy access to the roof membrane if there is a problem.
