Kitchen remodel

Remodeling our kitchen by getting rid of dining room. I'll have a big farm sink as well as s large 10 foot Long Island. We want more of an entertaining kitchen. I currently have in the plans for an island prep sink/disposal but I think I'd rather have a large uninterrupted surface with no sink. I will have a cutting board that pulls out like a drawer over a garbage can that I saw on Pinterest. I really don't think I need the sink--any advice? Will I regret it?

did you decide to get the prep sink? I am planning kitchen remodel, and prefer a large island with no sink as well.

Did a 10 foot island with no sink and thrilled with decision. We do have a small sink at our pub wall at end of kitchen but only use it for parties. Love the big farm sink and my pull out cutting board so prep sink is not necessary
