Long time no post! (Part 2)

Another NOID pink. I kind of actually like this one.

NOID red. I'm keeping it as is as I like the singles as much as the multi layered adeniums.

A closeup of Rick Ni Ran. I believe this bloom was 2 or 3 days old.

My Kanjana Yellow hasn't put on much of a show. Our Houston rains and flooding knocked off a lot of the buds.

A closeup of Hassadee Red. This bloom was 2 days old.

Not and adenium, but I got it as a present this year. My Hawaiian Sunset Vine (stictocardia beraviensis).
It's in the Morning Glory family.

Thanks, everyone! Getting feedback of appreciation makes this all worth it for me.

Tracy, as for the "perfect" pictures (I have to laugh a little) I use my good camera, a Canon t4i, I shoot in manual mode for total control. I've been learning how to do that for the past year or so. Also, I don't use the jpg format on my camera. I use the raw format. That way if there's any touch ups that need to be done all the image information is in the file for better results. Then I save to jpg. Oh, and I was gifted a subscription to Adobe Creative Suite that includes Photoshop and Lightroom. LOVE IT!

Rick, this is the best coloration I've had so far on my Hassadee Red. The first day some of the edges were pretty close to pure black.

Lonnie, if I ever get up in your area I'd love to see your collection. Seems I've read it's grown a lot more this year. LOL

Marie, I'm what I like to call the young side of old. Mid 40s now. And with a bad hip that surgery only partially corrected it can be difficult to play with my adeniums for long periods of time. Have to pace myself and spread out the work. Hehe. I admire how much you are doing and accomplishing. Hopefully they'll get someone at your job to help ease the burden.

Thank you! I'm trying to catch up to Marie's collection. It may take me a few years but I'll get there.

OMG yes, I'm enjoying your flowers very much! They are all beautiful specimens: flowers, caudex and all! And that morning glory is fantastic--so exotic! Thank you so much for sharing!

They are all beautiful but my favorite is the Hassadee Red, the purple edging on the flower is remarkable. How do you get your images so perfect? Mine are always blurry with the worst lighting conditions possible. Very artistic indeed Kirk, thanks for sharing.

Marie, I know you're talking to Kirk, but come on now, getting old? At your work you are having to take on added workload due to staff shortage; and now also taking care of your 86 year-old mom. I'd feel old too! So much responsibility! You're #1--take time out to give yourself a much-needed break. Chin up and smell the adeniums!

I'm trying to convince my sister to visit so I can take her to Chaya's nursery. Loved his selection the one time I've been.

Kirk, if you want to visit Chaya's nursery, do it soon. He lost 300 big plants few weeks ago. The plants didn't get thru custom inspection. He paid $800 extra for them to burn the plants.

He is not ordering any more from Thailand, so what is there will be gone fast.

Sinha, yes I got not only one, but 2 "Better Gold" to replace Kanjana. They smaller then the one I lost.

I lost total of 34 last winter......(so many big pots are empty at this time)

That's very sad indeed. But I am sure some might recover .Are they totally rotted?? I have no names for them except their color.I did visit the nursery today but the gardeners were unavailable so couldn't pick up what I planned to. Maybe will go slightly later again and check
