Need help with master bedroom headboard

Hi, this image is of our future master bedroom. I would like a king size bed (pictured) with a headboard but the windows are throwing me off.

I have some reclaimed wood planks that would be a perfect headboard (wall mounted) but feel like it would look strange with window, plank, window. Can I just go with a traditional headboard and cover part of the window on each side? Thoughts? Ideas?

yes i think its fine to cover a little of the window, make sure when you order window treatments you have the cords on the far sides of the windows so you dont have to fish behind the lamps and bed.

Hi

I agree- you can have your headboard extend slightly in front of the windows.

My first choice would be to do the wall of drapes which will really lengthen the appearance of the room, provide softness, reduce noise, and look very glamorous. Then chose a smaller scale headboard.
