I bought the tilther sold by Johnny's. A bit expensive but I have to admit it did a nice job creating a very well granulated and smooth seed bed. I used it in my raised beds which are filled with compost and and well screened topsoil.
The machine tilthed down about 3 inches and can not be used as a general tiller for compacted soil or to create new beds - it lacks the torque for that.
The cord that connects the handle to the electric drill (bought separately and used as the motor) is poorly designed but is workable.
