Need Help with Laundry Room Placement

We're in the process of making changes to our house plans now. The plans the contractor gave us has a small, closed off area for washer/dryer in the bathroom. (It's only 80cm wide, but we're not in America so our washer and dryer are narrower than American machines, about 60cm.) We don't love the idea of a laundry room in the bathroom, especially because it will be such a cramped area. We drew up a couple of ideas. One is to leave the laundry room in the bathroom, but extend the bathroom out and make the laundry area 20cm wider, so we have a little more space in there. The other is making a closet for the washer/dryer in the hallway, using up some of the space from our master bedroom walk-in closet. Then we would take some space from the (now larger) bathroom, so our smallest bedroom gets a little more space. Here are our drawings of the original plan, and the two other options. Any opinions or other ideas?

Laundry in hallway (using master closet space) is great option as it will provide easier access to all and won't take up space in a common bath. What will smallest bedroom be used for? Guest/office/nursery rooms don't need to be too big- space in the bathroom is always appreciated! Can you move laundry to hallway, using some master closet space and leave bathroom same size? If you take laundry out of bathroom, could you use the space to put in shelves or a linen closet?

We have 3, going on 4 kids, so the smallest bedroom will probably be my oldest daughter's room. I wasn't sure if we'd need more space in her room for a closet, but I like the idea of a nice linen closet. Is it a little gross, having the clean linens in the bathroom, though? I feel weird about it, even behind a closet door.

I have linen closets in all my bathrooms and it is not an issue- keep the door to the linen closet closed. You will have access to everything- toilet paper or a clean towel, no matter where you are or what you're doing in the bathroom. If you can't manage a real closet in the oldest daughter's bedroom, consider a hanging/rolling rack- look at The Container Store website (I know you aren't in US, but it will give you ideas) OR consider purchasing a stand alone wardrobe for her room (IKEA has good options). Good idea to give oldest child her own space, baby can squeeze in anywhere for a while!

There are drawbacks to having the washer/dryer on the hall. You are limiting yourself to buying a dryer that has a condenser, since it is not near an outside wall. Additionally, and maybe more importantly, the washer and dryer need to run very quietly if they are in the hallway closet, otherwise, you can hear it through the house.

If you keep the laundry room in the bathroom, you also get a much nicer, more accessible linen closet, and your master closet is a decent deal larger.

Why not use the stackable set not sure if those are smaller. This way you don't lose as much closet space. and then the area that you gain back for closet space turn into a shoe rack or built in shelves.
