Need help with awkward living room layout!

We have an awkward living room layout which is worsened by The fact that our entrance opens directly into the living room without an entryway. In addition, there is a weight-bearing half wall that separates the dining room and living room area. We have tried every furniture arrangement that we can think of! We are also willing to switch the living room and dining room. Our priorities are to have an entry way and a comfortable living area. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!!
