There are many (hundreds?) named beans. They all look very similar.... Sorry.

That's alright, I was just hoping I could get a better idea of exactly what kind of beans they actually were.

Can you tell by looking at the photos what kind they are?

Yea, that's a hard one... Do you know what color the seeds were? To me they look like some sort of common bean...

The seeds were plain white/eggshell colored.

You can also rule out a lot of the drying beans, some of the yellow beans that produce black seeds. I too would guess a common fresh eating green bean, either pole or bush.

How about a picture of the beans from the packet? Bean plants tend to look pretty much the same.

Those aren't your beans. I planted mine from seeds too. They start out that way then those little pieces that look like beans will fall off and more leaves will grow. Those are just the remnants of the seeds. It takes a while before you see anything. Keep watching them! They are growing nicely.

@Tanisha I slowly learned that hehe! Those bean looking parts did fall off and there are a lot of new leaves now. Lol I thought it was too quick to have beans already :P I will keep watching them and see what I get :)

Well, in a few weeks you'll have new beans that look just like the ones you planted. ;)
