1 inch or 2 inch hex tile floor for bathroom.

Hi,

We have a 1929 home and are adding a bathroom. We are trying to keep it vintage and are still debating 1 inch or 2 inch hex tile. We are thinking that 2 inch might be easier with less grout but 1 inch looks more to the period. Any thoughts would be appreciated!

The 2" hex tile might be a nice compromise inasmuch as it will still give you a vintage look but with less grout.

I have a 1926 Sears Kit house. We have 1 inch white hex Daltile with light gray grout. Thinking about darker gray hex in the 2 inch for shower floor
